Home Offshore Energy MAN ES awards NOL for TALUSIA UNIVERSAL

MAN Energy Solutions requalifies and endorses TALUSIA UNIVERSAL (BN 57) following Service Letter (SL2020-694).

MAN Energy Solutions (ES) recently released their New Service Letter – SL2020-694 – to provide guidance on which cylinder oils to apply for their engines based on their updated product performance categorization.

At Total Lubmarine, we welcome this initiative by MAN ES. Any OEM that seeks to highlight and communicate the importance of the cleaning abilities of approved lubricants for their engines is positive for any owner, operator and engineer.

That’s why we are delighted to announce that MAN ES has endorsed the use of TALUSIA UNIVERSAL, and has provided a No Objection Letter (NOL) on 19 May 2020 confirming TALUSIA UNIVERSAL’s 57 BN [SAE 50] approved use in MAN B&W two-stroke engines operating on <0.50% S VLSFO, and fuel with a sulphur content ranging from 0.5 to 1.5%.

The latest NOL for TALUSIA Universal is further evidence of the performance it delivers across all MAN ES 2 Stroke engines and follows on from the NOL we received for TALUSIA UNIVERSAL from WIN GD in March 2020.
