We are delighted to announce that the Bermuda Shipping & Maritime Authority (BSMA) has selected PDMS and our enterprise software solution for Ship Registries, ‘MARIS’, for the BSMA and as part of their digital transformation strategy.

Based in Hamilton in Bermuda, with a presence in UK, Greece and Singapore, the BSMA are one of the oldest ship registries in the world. It is a “Category 1” member of the Red Ensign Group (REG), which is ranked ninth in the world fleet. As a leading flag, the BSMA provides high quality ship registry services to their discerning clients and as a result has a modern mixed fleet of quality vessels of all types as well as supporting their clients in the offshore oil, gas and yachting industries.

MARIS continues to lead the way as the digital platform of choice in the sector.  It will touch all areas of the BSMA business including Registry, Survey, Seafarers and other BSMA core business services including, to name a few; reporting; management information for audits; provision of online services; managing financial transactions and full digital certification and digital signing.

Full digital and online service capabilities with industry (IMO) accepted digital certificates, are one of the many key components of MARIS and crucial for any modern quality leading flag.  Being able to operate truly digitally is of even more significance, in the current circumstances, with global logistics currently under such immense strain.  BSMA clients will appreciate more than ever the complete digital capabilities provided by MARIS.

The new relationship between PDMS and BSMA also adds another influential, important, and strategic member to the PDMS MARIS User Group.
