Singapore’s strength as a global maritime centre and the extent to which it will drive the shipping industry’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, dominated discussion at the inaugural SMI Digital Debate last week.

CSM Group Director for Marketing & Business Development, Demetris Chrysostomou, joined leaders from the Singapore shipping industry and told industry peers in the debate that shipping will emerge from this crisis, just like it has emerged from previous global challenges in the past, but this new ‘normal’ would be enhanced by cooperation and collaboration.
