HOULDER to open new office in port of Blyth

We are delighted to announce a new Houlder office in the Port of Blyth on the southeast coast of Northumberland. The office space will be manned and managed from our Tyneside base, extending our maritime and offshore service network in the North East.

The Port of Blyth is a thriving base for a broad range of maritime organisations operating in the North Sea. In particular, it serves as the home port for those local companies working in the offshore and subsea sector.

With this new presence in the Port of Blyth, we are expanding the scope of our North-Eastern consultancy service to offer more direct design and specification guidance to our clients, supporting them in navigating complex issues, and being close at hand when needed. We also hope our presence will strengthen our current collaboration with the Port of Blyth itself, and facilitate building new relationships with the region’s local operators and the wider community.

Houlder’s deep roots in the maritime and related markets are manifested in the passion its people have for the shipping and offshore markets of today. We work from within the marine and energy sectors rather than from the outside looking in, enabling us to relate to our clients and empathise with the issues and challenges they face.

We look forward to opening our doors and connecting with our clients and partners in the Port of Blyth in the near future.
