LOC China appoints Shi Wenchao as Managing Director


LOC Group, the premier international engineering and marine consulting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shi Wenchao to the role of Managing Director of LOC China. Shi Wenchao will be based in Shanghai and will oversee the Group’s Chinese operations, which includes offices in Shanghai and Tianjin.

Shi Wenchao has over 10 years’ experience in the nuclear and power & utilities sectors. He joins LOC China from Bureau Veritas China, where he was Business Unit Head of Power and Utilities. His responsibilities involved leading sales & marketing, project implementation and business development strategies. Prior to this, Shi Wenchao was Project Secretary at State Nuclear Power Engineering Company where he was heavily involved on the China-US nuclear power efforts.

Shi Wenchao holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automations, from a prestigious University in China, and a Masters in both Engineering and Management in Energy (MME) from Tulane University in New Orleans, USA.
