CIMC SOE Won RMB 160 Million LNG Tank Order

A few days ago, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore and Engineering Co., Ltd. (“CIMC SOE”), a subsidiary of CIMC ENRIC, received two orders for LNG (liquefied natural gas) tanks, with the total order amount exceeding 160 million yuan. These two orders have further stabilized CIMC SOE’s position in the LNG tank market.

Affected by the COVID-19, many foreign customers are skeptical about the production and delivery capacity of CIMC SOE in the face of flight cancellation, temporary suspension of visa application and inability to hold face-to-face talks. In response, as a well-known enterprise in the design and manufacture of small and medium-sized liquefied gas carriers, liquid tanks and marine modules in the world, CIMC SOE went up against the difficulties and maintained active communication with customers through teleconferences and other means. With full working attitude, high professionalism, CIMC SOE found out the difficulties of the project, cleared up the technical difficulties of undertaking the project, finally dispelled the concerns of customers and obtained two LNG tank orders in succession.

It is reported that one of the two LNG tank orders has enabled CIMC SOE to get new customers and the other has enabled the company to enter the emerging market for the fuel tanks of luxury cruise ships.
