BIMCO cannot emphasise enough that during this coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak, the safety of everyone is of paramount importance in terms of not being exposed or risk being infected with the disease.
In our continuing efforts to assist in the maritime industry, in particular to protect seafarers and visitors onboard ships, BIMCO is providing free posters in black and white to be printed and used onboard at the following suggested locations:
- Shoreside of the gangway (A3 / A4)
- Shipside of the gangway (A3 / A4)
- Various locations in the accommodation (A3 / A4)
These posters are also available on our publications page.
We all have a shared responsibility in containing this outbreak and promoting a sense of awareness amongst ourselves and we hope that these posters will spread the message that basic human acts can go a long way in protecting each other as well as containing the spread of this disease.
BIMCO encourages all to share these posters throughout the industry.
