Intership Navigation Vacancy – Team Leader Software Development

Intership Navigation Co. Ltd is a leading shipowning company in Cyprus with a large and diversified technical and commercial management network.
Intership Navigation Co. Ltd is seeking to recruit:
TEAM LEADER SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
The candidate will head the software development team of the Hartmann Group, consisting of an international team of software developers with various backgrounds. The team develops business applications, targeting both web as well as mobile platforms, covering the needs of the group across its four major locations (Cyprus, Germany, Poland, Philippines).
The successful candidate should:
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science
- Minimum 5-7 years hands-on experience in software development (web & mobile)
- Minimum 2-3 years of these as team leader
Technical Skills
- Excellent understanding of relational databases & SQL
- Excellent understanding of system architecture
- Good overview of common frameworks (server-side and client-side)
- Experience with agile & traditional development processes
- Practical experience with version control and ticketing
- Background in business applications (considered an advantage)
Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to engage and interact with people at all levels
- Proven ability to lead a multi-cultural team
- Proven ability to deliver in time and in budget
- Shipping related experience and knowledge (considered an advantage)
