CSSC Lei Fanpei Meets with German R&M CEO Thomas Topfer


On October 25, Lei Fanpei, chairman of China State Shibuilding Corporation, met with Thomas Topfer, chief executive officer of Rheinhold & Mahla, in Beijing. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and reached consensus on strengthening exchanges and cooperation to promote mutual benefit and win-win result. Nan Daqing, deputy general manager of CSSC, attended the meeting.
Lei Fanpei welcomed Thomas Topfer’s visit and gave a briefing on the latest development of the CSSC and the progress of the large cruise project. At present, CSSC is actively developing ocean defense equipment industry, shipbuilding and offshore engineering equipment industry, ocean technology innovation and application industry and shipbuilding and offshore engineering service industry, and striving to build the world’s leading ocean technology industrial group, Lei said. The large-scale cruise project is a major scientific and technological innovation project of CSSC. It is speeding up the implementation as planned. In the process, we need to cooperate closely with all parties. R&M has advanced technology and rich experience. We hope that the two sides will strengthen exchanges and communication, carry out pragmatic cooperation, promote mutual benefit and win-win result.
Thomas Topfer agreed with Mr. Lei’s proposal and introduced the business development of R&M. Thomas Topfer said CSSC is a world-class shipbuilding group with mighty strength in ship design and shipbuilding. R&M hopes to be able to participate in CSSC’s large cruise project and cooperate more closely with CSSC.
Responsible persons of relevant departments and relevant member units of CSSC headquarters attended the meeting.
